It is not Thanksgiving yet. It is the day before Thanksgiving.
My daughter turned 4 years today. She has been ill this whole week. Today we went to see a doctor. The doctor told us that she has angina and both of her ears are infected. And on top of that, she is having a high fever. Poor little one.
I can hear her heavy breathing from the living room where she sleeps before I carry her to upstairs to her own bed. She struggles to breathe a bit because of her congested nose. That's why I wanted her to sleep downstairs where I can hear her breathing. We had to adjourn her birthday party that she has been waiting for so long.
She was so tired because of high fever that she agreed that it is a good idea to move the birthday party to another day. How precious she is.
This kind of week and this kind of day really made me think what I am thankful for in my life.
You might guess that the sleeping little one is really on top of my list. Number one.
What are you thankful for?

THANKSGIVING SMALL APPETIZER PLATTER
I also made something little for our pre-Thanksgiving evening. Not typical American Thanksgiving appetizer, I guess. But hey, I'm not American so bear with me.
I added just some Italian olives, black salt flakes for decor, rosemary, green peppers, crackers, blue cheese, and honey.
Basically, I will be eating blue cheese with crackers and on top of that drops of honey. And some red wine. Really simple and really tasty if you happen to love blue cheese and honey.
I want to end this post with exact same words that I did last year.
Have a cozy Thanksgiving with full of love and laughter! Hold your loved ones extra close and enjoy your time.
